The Algonquin Round Table |
One of those rare moments in American history when intellegence and wit were honored and respected. Then along came radio, movies and finally, the death blow, TVand the horrors of celebrity worship. June 2008. I've decided to remove this part of the site. There are now many more and better Algonquin history sites available now, and I just haven't the time to update it. So, use your google and go for it! |
My Favorite Babes |
What was that I just said about the horrors of celebrity worship? Oh, well. Click here to view some pictures of my favorite female actresses from the big and small screen. |
Things That Amuse Me |
Hey, I'm easily entertained! |
Snakes |
Herpetology: the scientific study
of Reptiles and Amphibians
I'm something of a well-educated amateur (My degree is in liberal arts but it is a B.S. -- so there). Anyway, ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated by snakes. That singular interest fortunately put me on the right road to the pleasure and enjoyment of all the sciences. Click the link to see some pets of mine. |
Railroads |
Did you know that once there were six transcontinental railroads serving the West? Now there are only two. Ever heard of the Milwaukee Road? If you're into railroads, model or prototype, then click here |
Movies and TV |
... from the point of view of someone who works inside. Much of my career in films and television has been in the poor cousin genre known as animation. Though, if you look at a list of top grossing movies, several of them are cartoons. |
Martial Arts |
The only time in my life when I was in tip-top physical condition was when I practiced regularly the martial art of kung fu. I had two excellent instructors, Unfortunately I rarely had enough time or money to continue lessons. |
More to be added when time and mental energy permits.
