| OTTO AND GEORGE PAGE! |
This page is dedicated to Otto and all the fans of this stand-up comic and his out-of-control dummy. Otto Peterson, in what must've been a moment of inspired genius, got his hands on a ventriloquist's dummy that looked like it was headed for the woodpile, dressed it up, learned how to work it, and started a career. George Dudley (the dummy) is a sex-obsessed hand-puppet that can out-cuss a longshoreman on a good night. When these two take the stage, let there be no doubt who's in charge..... George! |

I look forward to seeing Otto and George live. His trips to the west coast are infrequent though I hear he does occasionally perform in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, all I have is a videotape of his appearance on "Full Frontal Comedy," which ran briefly on SHOWTIME, and a commercial tape, "Comedy's Dirty Dozen," which is available at probably Amazon dot com and other commercial video outlets. |
Click on George (left) to hear a brief but very naughty clip from "Full Frontal Comedy." Parental Advisory: Contains Bad Language update to mp3(?) |

Otto & George News Briefs Updated for March 2007 As of January 2004, it looks like Miller Comedy has stopped selling Otto & George merchandise.... The first Otto & George CD was titled: "Dirty Puppet."
I expect that a thorough internet search may turn up one for sale. Also available -- somewhere -- is the critically acclaimed DVD of "The Telecrappies" and a new quasi-autobiographical video "American Dummy." I have both of these, and they are very funny. Otto and George guest starred on Penn & Teller's "Sin City Las Vegas Show" and gave the Fox FX Channel censors some overtime work. George, as usual, couldn't stop cussing up a storm. As if being X-rated was a "problem," Otto and George were putting in a guest appearance a porn industry expo in Vegas and -- wouldn't you know it -- even some of THOSE people were offended! How is that possible?Otto and George bits are now showing up on YouTube. Just Google that and in the Youtube search engine type: otto and george! |

Otto and George made their dramatic cable TV debut on an episode of "Action" a black comedy series that lasted only a season or so. The episode with Otto and George was never aired -- according to my sources -- but at least we have this publicity still from the set. |
