2600 The Hacker's Quarterly

It has been said often these days that we live in interesting times. One group of people who live on the edge of the law are known collectively as "hackers". Frankly, they've been given a bad name, mostly by politicians and undereducated journalists. Still, the idea of "hacking" has been around since the dawn of electronic technology, so what changed?

Well, big business and the laws they lobbied droopy brained politicians to pass that "protected" them. So in the process of experimenting, hackers became "criminals" simply by the stroke of a pen.

2600 - The Hackers Quarterly is one of several magazines devoted to the "hacking" lifestyle, and these magazines discuss just such things. So fair warning friends. These magazines are published and the information contained within those pages are intended primarity only for informational purposes. Keep that in mind if you are buying these magazines.
