GET CRAZY 1983 Malcolm McDowell Allen Garfield Lee Ving Lampoon of the wild and crazy hardcore rock scene of the early 80s with lots of punks and new wavers and plenty of amusing drug references.

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN 1985 Sarah Jessica Parker Long before she starred and co-produced HBO's "Sex and the City," Sarah Jessica Parker debuted in a little TV series called "Square Pegs" and then played the lead in this early 80s feature about a catholic school girl who just wants to dance her ass off.

GONE IN 60 SECONDS 1974 H.B. Haliki Don't EVER confuse the original with that most recent movie that "borrowed" this title. THIS is the real deal. Awesome first feature by real life Gardena junk yard owner, the late H. B. Haliki. More cars get wrecked in this movie than in an entire season of a demolition derby. Sadly, Haliki died in a car stunt gone horribly wrong while making a third follow up to this first feature. SALE PENDING

GUMBALL RALLY 1976 Michael Sarrazin Gary Busey The original "cannonball" race movie with a very relaxed Michael Sarrazin and the always loopy Gary Busey.

HARD ROCK ZOMBIES 1985 Sam Mann Real life Hollywood rocker, Sam Mann, supplies the lead role in this very low budget horror rocknroll comedy.

HELL SQUAD 1985, Bainbridge Scott The son of a diplomat is kidnapped by terrorists seeking a new type of nuclear weapon. A friend of the diplomat puts together a squad of Las Vegas showgirls to rescue the son. Sure. Happens all the time. Mind pointing me to the poker table? Okay, I'm all in.

HIDING OUT 1987 Jon Cryer The usually underrated Cryer plays a stock broker -- at least I think it was a stock broker -- who gets caught up with some bad guys and hides out back in high school

HIGH RISK 1976 James Brolin "Buddy" movie about a group of friends who decide to prove their macho moxie by doing something really stupid in Central America.

HOT DOG - THE MOVIE 1983 David Naughton Shannon Tweed They made a lot of ski movie comedies but this one ranks near the top. Naughton and his crew of party hearty rat packers take in a new guy for the ski competition. My top pick, if you must know, is Ski School starring Dean (the mighty cheese) Cameron.

INFRAMAN 1976 (HK-dubbed) Over-the-top action and goofy jump cuts galore. If you have ever wondered what a Chinese satire of a Japanese superhero-monster movie would play like, here it is. This little known Hong Kong action movie even got two thumbs up by Siskel and Ebert. Your very jaw will drop to the popcorn littered theater floor.

JUNKMAN 1982 H.B. Haliki H. B. Haliki took the revenues from his incredibly successful "Gone in 60 Seconds" and made this car chase and wreck followup feature. If you love fast machines and destruction derby action this film will satisfy both urges. Great fun for fans of automobile destruction.

JUST ME AND YOU 1978 Charles Grodin Louise Lasser Somewhere between inspired and crazy, some casting agent paired up the perpetually constipated Charles Grodin with the droopy-eyed Louise Lasser and made this cross-country travel movie that defies description.

KASHMIRI RUN 1969 Pernell Roberts Alexandra Bastedo Himalyan hermit and ex-Bonanza escapee Pernell Roberts gets chased around Tibet by the invading Red Chinese Army. In the process he runs into hot blonde brit babe anthropologist Alexandra Bastedo and earns his romantic reward. Shot in Spain with a budget that allowed for an army jeep for the big finale.

KEY EXCHANGE 1985 Brooke Adams dir. Barnett Kelman "Murphy Brown" director, Barnett Kelman, turned in this New York story.

KING FART FRAT! 1979 John DiSanti Charles Pitt Dan Chandler Finally someone took the "Animal House" idea to its logical conclusion. This movie about a dispicable frat house (full of older adult actors) that sets up the ultimate farting contest. Better than you'd think.

LAST RESORT 1986 Charles Grodin, Rock-faced Chuck Grodin finds his sensibilities ruined at a hot resort. This guy wouldn't be happy anywhere except on a toilet.

LAST STARFIGHTER 1984 Lance Guest Robert Preston Catherine Mary Stewart Not great, but often under-rated sci-fi actioner about a trailer park kid (Lance Guest) whose skill with an arcade game gets him drawn into an outer space war. Very early computer effects are dated now. Robert Preston steals every scene he's in. Catherine Mary Stewart plays the love interest.

LONG JOHN SILVER 1953 Robert Newton A classic. No one -- absolutely no one - can ever play a pirate better than Robert Newton -- although I have to admit, Johnny Depp and Jeffrey Rush were great in "Pirates of the Caribbean."

LOOSE SHOES 1980 Bill Murray Compilation of insane skits from early SNL comedic talents, many of whom went on to become stars.

LOST EMPIRE 1983 Melanie Vincz Raven DelaCroix Angela Ames Angus Scrimm Three very busty adventuresses get caught up in the international intrigue of an evil empire of neo-nazis planning on world domination. High jiggle factor. Think of it as Charlie's Angels with D-cups.

LUCKY TEXAN 1934 John Wayne Very early John Wayne western. Old Duke made a pile of these western serials before he gained stardom in the classic, "Stagecoach."

MAD MAX 1980 (Australia) Mel Gibson, Bruce Spence The film that started it all, and certainly propelled Mel Gibson into the heights of superstardom. Gibson plays a highway cop who always gets his man, even as the world around him is falling apart.

. MALIBU EXPRESS 1985 Sybil Danning Dir. Andy Sidaris I envy Andy Sidaris. He gets top Playboy and Penthouse models and puts them in his movies usually wearing bikinis and shooting guns and often getting wet.. well, you get the idea. Hot, hot, hot.

MAN FROM S.E.X. 1979 aka "No. 1: Licensed to Love and Kill" (UK) Gareth Hunt Nick Tate Fiona Curzon Geoffrey Keen. If you have ever wondered whatever happened to actor Gareth Hunt after he left "The New Avengers" - or Nick Tate after "Space: 1999" -- well... here is part of the answer. "Man From Sex" is a low budget softcore spy movie whose single compelling scene is where this woman, wearing razor-bladed tassles, swings her boobs to "mow down" her victims. Add in the helicopter sound effect and you'll be ROTFLMAO like I was.

MAN WHO WASN'T THERE 1983 Steve Gutenberg Early Steve Gutenberg vehicle about an invisibility formula that causes some comic intrigue.

MEATBALLS 1979 Bill Murray Christine Debell Bill Murray steals this movie, shot in Canada, about a bunch of camp counselors and their charges. It generated a big pile of cash and at least 4 sequels.

MODERN ROMANCE 1981 Albert Brooks, Kathryn Harrold Neurotic movie editor, Brooks, can't commit to charming Kathryn Harrold. Brooks co-wrote, directed and stars in this west coast romance.

MONTE WALSH 1970 Lee Marvin Jack Palance One of the classic 70s anti-westerns -- and even if you hate westerns, you should see it. Beautifully shot locations, lots of humor and pathos about two cowboys trying to contend with the end of the cowboy era in America. Haunting theme sung by the late Mama Cass Elliot. Highly recommended. (Tape comes in a white clamshell box.)

MONTY PYTHON: MEANING OF LIFE 1983 The Python's epic film (they are ALL good) and highly recommended. Someone get me a bucket!

MORGAN STEWART'S COMING HOME 1987 Jon Cryer "Pretty in Pink" alumnus John Cryer vehicle, a teen comedy romance and it's not bad.

MY CHAMPION 1984 Yoko Shimada Chris Mitchum Unusual film that focuses on a  Japanese wife who is unhappy in her marriage to an American. Shimada is terrific as a woman who finds her individualism and strength in running a marathon.

MY CHAUFFEUR 1986 Deborah Foreman Sam Jones "Valley Girl" star Foreman turns in a nice performance about a young woman who decides to go to work for an all-male chauffeur company.

NATE AND HAYES 1983 Tommy Lee Jones Michael O'Keefe Before Tommy Lee Jones became a household word, he starred in this pirate movie, and it's pretty good!
