HIGH RISK 1976 James Brolin "Buddy" movie about a group of friends who decide to prove their macho moxie by doing something really stupid in Central America.

HOT DOG - THE MOVIE 1983 David Naughton Shannon Tweed They made a lot of ski movie comedies but this one ranks near the top. Naughton and his crew of party hearty rat packers take in a new guy for the ski competition. My top pick, if you must know, is Ski School starring Dean (the mighty cheese) Cameron.

INFRAMAN 1976 (HK-dubbed) Over-the-top action and goofy jump cuts galore. If you have ever wondered what a Chinese satire of a Japanese superhero-monster movie would play like, here it is. This little known Hong Kong action movie even got two thumbs up by Siskel and Ebert. Your very jaw will drop to the popcorn littered theater floor. SOLD No Longer Available

JUNKMAN 1982 H.B. Haliki H. B. Haliki took the revenues from his incredibly successful "Gone in 60 Seconds" and made this car chase and wreck followup feature. If you love fast machines and destruction derby action this film will satisfy both urges. Great fun for fans of automobile destruction. SOLD No Longer Available

JUST ME AND YOU 1978 Charles Grodin Louise Lasser Somewhere between inspired and crazy, some casting agent paired up the perpetually constipated Charles Grodin with the droopy-eyed Louise Lasser and made this cross-country travel movie that defies description. SOLD No Longer Available

KASHMIRI RUN 1969 Pernell Roberts Alexandra Bastedo Himalyan hermit Gregory Nelson ("Bonanza" escapee Pernell Roberts) gets chased around Tibet by the invading Red Chinese Army. In the process he runs into hot blonde brit babe anthropologist "Hank" ("The Champions" Alexandra Bastedo) and earns his romantic reward. Shot entirely in Spain with a mostly Spanish cast and a minimalist budget that allowed for an army jeep for the big finale. As a classic 60s adventure film it's not a bad idea really -- one wonders what this film might have been with a decent budget and a more competant director. Generally fine chemistry between Roberts and Bastedo as well as anglicized banter between Spanish character actors Julian Mateos and Gloria Camera. SOLD No Longer Available

LAST STARFIGHTER 1984 Lance Guest Robert Preston Catherine Mary Stewart Not great, but often under-rated sci-fi actioner about a trailer park kid (Lance Guest) whose skill with an arcade game gets him drawn into an outer space war. Very early computer effects are dated now. Robert Preston steals every scene he's in. Catherine Mary Stewart plays the love interest. SOLD No Longer Available

LONG JOHN SILVER 1953 Robert Newton A classic. No one -- absolutely no one - can ever play a pirate better than Robert Newton -- although I have to admit, Johnny Depp and Jeffrey Rush were great in "Pirates of the Caribbean."

"Man From Sex" is a low budget softcore spy movie whose single compelling scene is where this woman, wearing razor-bladed tassles, swings her boobs to "mow down" her victims. MONTE WALSH 1970 Lee Marvin Jack Palance One of the classic 70s anti-westerns -- and even if you hate westerns, you should see it. Beautifully shot locations, lots of humor and pathos about two cowboys trying to contend with the end of the cowboy era in America. Haunting theme sung by the late Mama Cass Elliot. NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF JIMMY REARDON 1988 River Phoenix Tragic teen icon River Phoenix stars in this teen comedy.

NO SMALL AFFAIR 1984 Jon Cryer Demi Moore Teen comedy with Cryer as a teen infatuated with slightly older hot babe Moore.

NOBODY'S FOOL 1985 Rosanna Arquette Eric Roberts It is a shame this film never found its audience. Don't confuse this film with the Paul Newman movie of the same title. This is one of those gems that makes you come back again and again.  Rosanna Arquette plays comely confused Cassie Stoolie, a small town girl who hooks up with a traveling L.A. summer theater troop and falls for stage technician Eric Roberts. Shot entirely in and around Prescott, Arizona, "Nobody's Fool" is a minor classic that deserved a better release than it ever got, if it ever got one. Arquette gives an outstanding performance and she and the supporting cast is a joy to watch. SALE PENDING
